In order to meet the petroleum industry’s need for recognition of the unique competencies of data management professionals, the PPDM Association established the Certified Petroleum Data Analyst certification exam.  

The CPDA designation is a globally recognized achievement, unique to the petroleum data management industry. Certification demonstrates to employers, clients, and colleagues that a CPDA professional possesses data management knowledge, experience, and skills to navigate the unique challenges of data management specific to the energy industry.

We are hosting a one-hour CPDA  Virtual Information Session for those interested in learning more about the CPDA Program, the value of the certification, the knowledge and skills participants acquire, and the process involved to earn this credential. We will walk through the application process, provide tips to study for the exam, and present information concerning taking the exam and becoming certified. Virtual information sessions are presented by CPDA Certified Members of our Certification Committee. Details will be distributed to you upon your registration closer to the event date.
