Upstream data collection is growing everyday. - Who owns this data, Operator or the Service company? - Why is this data so valuable, and how will it be monetized?

Location and Timing

This luncheon is being hosted by Shell at the Woodcreek Campus of the Shell Exploration Production Center located at 150 N Dairy Ashford Road, Houston, Texas, 77019. A map of the Woodcreek Campus is available. If you are coming from downtown Houston or Beltway 8, take 1-10 West. Take the Dairy Ashford exit and continue straight on the I-10 frontage road. Turn right onto N. Dairy Ashford Rd. Turn right into the first gate (Gate 3/4) and continue straight at the stop sign to Visitor Parking. If coming from Katy, take the I-10 East and take the Dairy Ashford exit. Turn left at the stop light onto N. Dairy Ashford Road. Turn right into the first Gate (Gate 3/4) and continue straight at the stop sign to Visitor Parking.

From Visitor Parking, proceed to Building F where you will check-in and be given parking instructions as there will not be enough parking available for you to stay in a visitor spot. After parking, return to Building F where you will be escorted to Building A where the luncheon will take place.

Attendees must bring a valid government issued identification to enter the Shell facility (ie: drivers license or passport).

Registration will take place from 11:15 to 11:30 outside the meeting room. Lunch will be served at 11:30. If you have any food allergies please let us know during the registration process. If you find you are no longer able to attend, please advise us of your cancellation as soon as possible to free up a space for another attendee.

Non-Member Rate

There is a $25 non-member rate to attend Data Management Luncheons to help cover the costs associated with creating, running and maintaining our community events, not for the venue, food and beverage as they're generously sponsored. Memberships can be purchased for only $100, and if you decide to join PPDM within 10 business days of a luncheon, we will apply the cost for the luncheon to your membership. Please contact Member Services to get your credit. Should you decide to purchase your membership prior to registering, please purchase your membership as a separate transaction prior to registering for the luncheon in order to get the complimentary rate. NOTE: If you are an employee of a corporate member, recently let go by a corporate member or a student, you are entitled to a complimentary 1 year membership.

Members will still be able to attend luncheons for free thanks to our sponsors.
