Joe Alapat - Liongard
Joe Alapat is a successful entrepreneur with more than two decades of experience managing IT infrastructure for large enterprises, mid-market companies, and small-to-medium sized businesses (SMBs) under the care of an IT managed service provider he owned, operated, and sold. Following his exit, he founded Liongard to address the growing IT Service Provider challenge of managing and securing modern IT at scale with strong visibility, automation, and insight.
At Liongard, Joe is focused on delivering a truly modern approach to managing and securing modern IT environments. CRN honored Joe as a Channel Chief in 2020, 2021, 2022, 2023, 2024, and 2025. He graduated with honors from Trinity University with a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science and is a Certified Information Systems Security Professional.
Dd Budiharto - Microsoft
Dd Budiharto is Chief Security Advisor for Microsoft’s Oil, Gas, and Energy sector and the founder of Cyber Point Advisory, LLC, a cybersecurity consulting firm serving small and mid-sized businesses.
With more than 30 years of experience in IT and operational technology (OT) security, Dd has led and contributed to cybersecurity initiatives for organizations including Phillips 66, ConocoPhillips, Baker Hughes, Marathon Oil, and Halliburton. Dd has also collaborated with the White House on critical infrastructure cybersecurity initiatives and previously chaired the American Petroleum Institute (API) IT Security Subcommittee.
A passionate leader and advocate for the cybersecurity community, Dd is the founder of the Cybersecurity Circle community and actively supports organizations such as CYBR.Sec.Con., Exec.Sec.Con., Women in Cybersecurity (WiCyS), ISACA, and ISSA. Dd is the recipient of the 2024 ORBIE Houston CISO Leadership Award and has been recognized for significant contributions to the cybersecurity profession, including honors as a Cybersecurity DIVA and an SC Magazine “Influencer in Cybersecurity.”
