Venue
- The Calgary Data Management Symposium will take place at the Amphitheatre at the Calgary Tower Center - 298, 115 9th Ave SE, Calgary T2G 0P5. Access to this venue is easiest through the Palliser South building, going up the escalators and through the sliding doors to the conference area. There will be a PPDM Association sign outside. Please note that this venue does lock, so if you leave you may need to text the PPDM team to get access back in. Parking is available in the Calgary Tower Parkade with early bird rates around $13. Access to that parkade can be from either 9th or 10th Avenue.

- There are no special safety requirements for this venue. Masks can be worn by choice.

- By attending this event, you understand that PPDM Association Policies require you to follow the local/regional/WHO safe gathering guidelines including hand/respiratory hygiene, social distancing, and specific venue requirements. Room Block

Transportation & Parking

There are a variety of parking lots around the University of Calgary Downtown Campus, along with easy Transit access - you can visit www.calgarytransit.com to find the schedules and plan your trip. The venue is located in the 'Free Fare' Zone of the C-Train Line.
Networking Opportunities

Beyond the networking opportunities during meals and breaks, this year the Symposium programming will include an informal networking reception (self-funded) on Tuesday, September 27, at a nearby restaurant. The food and beverage for these informal networking events will not be covered under the registration fee unless we have a sponsor.
Virtual Attendance
- There will not be a virtual event tied to this in-person event.
International Visitors
- For those travelling from outside of Canada, please review the eligibility requirements with the Government of Canada. If you require a letter of introduction to attend, please email events@ppdm.org with your contact information. All travelers are responsible for following any entry/exit requirements from the Government of Canada, which may include Rapid Testing and quarantines. Please consult the Canadian government websites along with your local government website for more details.

Individual memberships are only $100 to sign up now to save. Discounts are available for groups of 5 or more individuals. Other discounts such as student, speaker or sponsorship codes may apply.
