PPDM Association Data Bytes events are regular short one and a half hour virtual events designed to inform and educate the community, while also providing valuable virtual networking opportunities. Thank you to the Houston Leadership Team for coordinating this event.

Chad Van Buskirk, the PPDM Association's Reference Values List Work Group
Will present a talk entitled
"Rejuvenated Focus on Reference Values"

Description: Please join us for the April Data Byte as we discuss the work the Reference Values List Work Group has been diligently up to.  We will be discussing the Reference Values List Work Group process, where to access published lists and what is coming down the pipeline for this group.

Presenter biography: Chad Van Buskirk as a professional environmental engineer with 20+ years’ experience in the oil & gas world, working in 9 countries and 5 continents in that time. Chad has championed field rollouts of O&G software platforms with a drive for efficiency in operations and data quality. He is now passionately leading innovation in the digital transformation of the O&G Completions space -through the IIoT and intelligent systems. At IWS, Chad’s team is pioneering the autonomous frac site through uncompromising physical controls and the digital logic loops of the inVision PaaS. Chad has worked as an engineer in completions technology, a fracturing engineer, and in well services as a business development technical sales account representative. Chad has also held a field service manager role, managing 4 countries in well construction. Chad couples worldwide experience with technical knowledge bringing value at the local level. In Nov 2020 Chad received his CPDA certification with the PPDM and is also midway through an MBA program with UCW in Vancouver.

Location and Timing

This virtual luncheon will take place on our virtual platform on April 27 at 11:45am Central Canada/USA time. This will be a virtual event using our Remo platform - https://live.remo.co/e/april-data-byte.  It is important that you register 24 hours in advance so you can be added into the system - you will receive an email from Remo with the link and how to set up an account, you may need to check your junk mail folder for the email. The email you register with is the email added to Remo, so if you need a different email used, please let us know. We recommend you read our 'How To' document for helpful hints to log in. The general agenda for this event:
15 minutes - Platform opens up, attendees login, and networking time
5 minute PPDM update
5-10 minute sponsor spotlight
30-40 minute presentation by Chad and the Reference Values List Work Group
15 minutes of networking time with other attendees

Non-Members: $10 (towards Admin fees)
