Presentation

Cynthia Hazard, Senior Manager, Oil & Gas Consulting
for EPAM Systems
will present a talk entitled
“Just Because You Build It, Doesn’t Mean They’ll Come”

Cynthia will discuss adoption challenges organizations are facing around digital and technology implementations.  She will review why it’s important to have a ‘people’ strategy along with a digital strategy and provide examples of implementations that had positive results and those that didn’t and why.  Cynthia will conclude by providing steps to implement key change management principles on any project to drive user adoption and value realization.

Cynthia has spent over 20 years partnering with executives and senior leaders to drive strategy, innovation, business process improvements, and transformation. She is an effective coach and mentor to client teams and colleagues, and a subject matter expert in organizational change management, strategic communications, process improvement, and human capital engagement.   

Cynthia has served clients in the healthcare, automotive, aviation, chemical, and upstream oil and gas industries.  She has created business case implementation plans spanning multiple departments and service lines, driving employee adoption of IT and ERP system implementations, process changes and organization realignment.

Cynthia earned a Bachelor of Arts in Communications Arts and Sciences from the University of Southern California, and a Master of Arts in Speech Communications from New York University. She is certified in training and organizational development by New York University, certified by the Human Capital Institute as a Human Capital Strategist and is a Prosci-certified Change Practitioner.

Location and Timing

Devon Energy is hosting our Q1 2019 luncheon and they are located at 333 West Sheridan, Oklahoma City.  Visitor parking is available at the northeast entrance of the parking garage on the first floor, located just north of the building at 101 North Harvey.  A parking garage attendant will greet you and ask for your name before granting access. 

Registration will take place from 11:15 to 11:30 outside the meeting room. Lunch will be served at 11:30. If you have any food allergies please let us know during the registration process. If you find you are no longer able to attend, please advise us of your cancellation as soon as possible to free up a space for another attendee.

After parking, please check in at the reception desk and they will direct you to the meeting room.

Pricing

Members: Free
Non-Members: $35 (towards Admin fees)
*Starting August 1, 2019, Walk In Attendees will be charged the non-member rate to attend. Please ensure you register to attend prior to the event, and have proof of payment ready if registered within 24 hours of the event.
Registration for this luncheon will close the day before the event.
