Introduction
Important Update
- Thank you for your patience with us while we investigated options for moving forward with the 2020 Houston Professional Petroleum Data Expo in light of the current pandemic COVID-19 crisis. We are working with our members to make this critical event a success for our sponsors, exhibitors and delegates.
- We will, of course, need to make some changes based on the COVID-19 situation. This is not a surprise to any of you. Most projections indicate that travel bans will escalate globally, and that larger gatherings may be restricted by health authorities as they work to curb the spread of this illness. While this makes a face to face conference unrealistic, we are far from out of options!
- Virtual conferencing offers us the opportunity to move our entire event online. From the comfort of your own office or home, you can participate in the conference talks, visit with our exhibitors, and recognize our sponsors (who make it possible for you to attend at an incredibly low price).
- Our plans for a virtual conference are going ahead, with enthusiasm from many who would otherwise be unable to attend due to travel and budget restrictions. Your registration for the physical Houston Expo includes free access to this virtual event, which is also open to those who are now able to attend this virtual event.
What is the VIRTUAL Houston Professional Petroleum Data Expo?
- The PPDM Association is excited to try a new virtual version of the Houston Professional Petroleum Data Expo on an exciting new platform. This platform includes the five stages of presentations, a networking lounge where you can connect with fellow virtual attendees, and virtual exhibitors and sponsors to learn more about what's happening in the industry from. The agenda is now available.
- Are you curious about how to use the new system? Please check out our How To help document. You can also email helpdesk@ppdm.org if you have any issues. Credentials will be emailed out to attendees by Friday, March 27, 2020 to access the system at www.ezxpo.net/ppdm.
Why should you attend?
- Learn what's new and happening in the industry, stay connected to the petroleum data management community, and get a taste of what you can expect at the physical Houston Expo starting at only $49 USD for members!
