Course Description:
Today, production management and optimization are significant opportunities for improving well site efficiency and profitability. This class covers the well test and production reporting subject areas in PPDM 3.9. It shows how the data model can be used to capture details about any well asset, any product, for any process and any time frame necessary for analysis.

Production accounting is not covered but production allocation is briefly described.

Learning Outcomes:
  • Review PPDM 3.9 well modules and discuss details such as - well tests, pressure tests, drill stem tests, and production tests
  • Explore production reporting and how volumes are reported
  • Review production entities (PDEN), and production volumes in detail – discuss challenges associated with PDEN reporting
