Who should be a member of the PPDM Association?

Any individual or company who has a role creating, using, or managing data or information for the energy industry. Operators, national oil companies, regulators, data vendors, service companies, software companies, consultants, research, and educational organizations. Click here to learn more.

How can an individual become a member of the PPDM Association?

There are many ways to be an individual member:

  • You can sign up as an individual or corporate member of PPDM. Click here to join PPDM
  • If you work for a company that is a corporate member of PPDM, your individual membership is available for free activation. Log in to ‘My Account’ to upgrade your membership to be ‘Corporate Representative.’
  • If you are a full-time student, and can provide credentials from your educational institutions, your membership is free. Click here to become a student member
  • If you are faculty at an educational institution or are unemployed, please contact us.

 

Do I have to be a member of the PPDM Association to participate in conferences, training, or certification?

Anyone is welcome to register to participate in our public events, certification, and training. Members qualify for discounted fees for these services. Some activities are available only for corporate members. Click here for more information

What does it cost to become a member?

  • In response to the downturn that industry has faced, the PPDM Association reduced our membership to make it more affordable. Membership starts at only $100 USD per year (plus applicable taxes) for individuals with special rates available for students, professors, and unemployed individuals. Renewals can be as low as $75 USD per year (plus applicable taxes).

How do I know if my company is a Corporate Member?

Visit our Membership Directory to view many of our corporate members. If you are not sure if your company is a member or not, and you don’t see them on the list, please contact accounts@ppdm.org.

How do I volunteer with the PPDM Association?

Please visit our Volunteer Page for more information! A PPDM Association membership is required to volunteer.

What if my membership has lapsed?

If you had a previous membership and it lapsed, you will no longer have access to member-only materials. Your renewal fee will also no longer be at the discounted rate. You can sign up for a new membership under your profile.

How do I update my profile?

You can update your profile by clicking on the ‘My Account’ button at the top right of the website, then you can edit your profile information.

How do I know if my membership is current?

When you visit your profile, you will see an ‘Paid Through Date.’ If your membership has expired, you will receive an email from the accounts team with how to renew.

How do I pay my invoice online?

If you would like to pay an invoice via credit card, you can either call our team with the card details, or you can login to your profile at www.ppdm.org and then click on “My Account,” then the “Participation” tab where you will find the invoice. All you need to do, is select it and proceed to the checkout.

What if I’m not ready to join quite yet?

Feel free to sign up for a complimentary Guest Account so you can stay connected - a membership will get you more access though!
